Stop us if you have read this somewhere before; there are some pretty awesome reasons to own a hot tub. To be sure, we have touched upon this subject in the past, perhaps a few times even. But we do so because really, if you are leaning towards buying as hot tub, you want some good reasons to justify the investment. And if you are, say, trying to convince your spouse that the family needs a hot tub, have her read this article and she will be convinced that a hot tub is the best thing in the world and go out and buy one now.

If only that would really happen. Look, it might take more than to have her read this article before she lets you buy a hot tub, but it’s a good start.

Seriously, there are so many good reasons to buy a hot tub from Spa Max that we could write a book. We don’t have time for that right now, nor do we have the gumption at the moment, But what we can do is give you a decent list of reasons to go out and buy a hot tub.

Relaxation

Your wife works hard, both at work and when she gets home in the evenings. After a day at work, an evening of slaving over a hot stove preparing an award-winning dinner for the family and washing the dishes, she would love nothing more than to spend an hour in the hot tub getting that much-needed rest and relaxation.

Better still, we suggest you prepare dinner after work, serve your wife dinner while she relaxes in the hot tub and then volunteer to clean up and do the dishes. Your wife is an admirable woman and deserves a night off from her regular duties.

Besides, she is more likely to agree to the hot tub if she gets to use it while you cook dinner.

Boosts Your Immune System

Being in an environment where your body temperature is raised, like in a hot tub, help to stimulate your body’s production of white blood cells. With an abundance of white blood cells, your body is better able to fight off disease, infections and viruses. In a nutshell, you will be sick less if you own a hot tub. So will your wife.

Blood Pressure

When the body is immersed in hot water, the heart rate speeds up and blood is sent to the surface of your body to remove excess heat. The warmer blood causes the blood vessels to dilate and actually lowers your blood pressure. At least, that what we read.

Pain Relief

Everybody suffers aches and pains from time to time, some of us are unfortunate enough to suffer chronic pain. Hot water is known to relieve pain from a number of ailments including arthritis. Sitting in a hot tub after a long run to soothe aching muscles is the best way to end your exercise routine.

Digestion

Sitting in a hot tub helps improve a great number of body functions, and digestion is no exception. After a wonderful meal of Chicken Makhani and roasted garlic asparagus, slip into the hot tub and your tummy will feel full and soothed. And if you ever suffer gastric distress, don’t have the wife or kids pull your finger, go have a seat in the hot tub instead, it will help.

Breathing

If you have a bad cold or are suffering from a respiratory tract condition, immersing yourself in a hot tub will help immensely. That steaming hot water will help break up anything that might be inhibiting your breathing and soothe any pains you might have.

Family Gathering Place

We live in a world where we can easily disconnect directly from others. You might have dinner at home in which the children are on their smartphones, the wife is on a tablet and dad is streaming football on a laptop. And then after dinner, everybody disperses in a different direction to do their own thing. When you have a hot tub, it gives you the perfect opportunity to enjoy some family time without electronic devices.

Now that you are convinced you need a hot tub, inform your wife of your decision and check out the section of hot tubs at Spa Max.
